Ithemba has created a collection of lampshades inspired by fashion designers and embroided by HIV positive women in Swaziland. All this is right on our doorstep...with the support of BHV department store in Paris and Optimark. The word...WOW springs to mind. Drawings have been printed on fabric, then enriched by the meticulous embroidery work done by the women. There are two collections of lampshades. One is part of the Fashion Designing Hope. Once complete they are sent to Paris, mounted on lampshade frames and sold at the BHV department store. There you have it... style with a heart.
